How it scores
Score = |drop 1| + |drop 2| + |drop 3|
Each drop is the time between your tap and the moment the cue mark passes under the needle, in whole milliseconds. Early and late count the same. Lower is better.
The record turns at its real speeds: 33⅓, 45 and 78 revolutions a minute. Where the mark starts differs every run; how a tap is scored never does. Nothing random decides a result.
